Some shows in this part of the state, but no festivals that I can see. The Clifton Gorge Music and Arts Festival is this weekend, along with HAMILPALOOZA in Hamilton, the Cincy Brew Ha-Ha and the Lebanese Festival in Dayton. Mary’s Egyptian Festival in Columbus and WAG! Fest in Hilliard. Plus, you have the Columbus Fiery Foods Festival, St. Two decent music festivals – Breakaway and WonderBus – are both going on this weekend. For shopping, check out the Great Trail Festival in Malvern, the Shaker Woods Festivals in Columbiana and the Vintage Marketplace at the Falls in Olmsted Falls. Most of the cultural festivals mentioned above, plus One World Day in Cleveland. The German-American Festival in Oregon and the Marblehead Lions Club Perch Festival. Let’s take a closer look at what’s going on in each part of the state: I have 10 reviews for this weekend’s group of festivals, so be sure to look at them. And, if you want to see many cultures brought together, check out Cleveland’s One World Day. You can enjoy the cuisines of Serbia ( Review) in Broadview Heights, Ukraine ( Review) in Parma, Romania ( Review) in Canton, Egypt ( Review) in Seven Hills, Miamisburg AND Columbus, Lebanon (Dayton) and even more from Germany (Cincinnati). Plus there are great food festivals to check out, such as the Garlic Festival ( Review) in Cleveland, the Fiery Foods Festival in Columbus, and Cultural Festivals galore. The Great Trail Festival ( Review) also starts up this weekend in Malvern (southeast of Canton) with some great Colonial America shopping in the woods for that autumnal festival feel. But you should plan ahead for this one as they use a food ticket system and you may want to take a shuttle service if you live in Toledo. One of the big ones this weekend is the German-American Festival ( Review) in Oregon (near Toledo), which may be one of the best German festivals out there for its festival grounds with Germanic styled buildings and Biergartens (it’s like being at Epcot Center), variety of German foods, entertainment and more. Still, there are some very significant festivals going on this weekend that you should consider attending. ![]() This is also the weekend before Labor Day Weekend, when festival numbers are really going to shoot up. Plus Cultural Festivals galore.įestival numbers dip down a bit for the last weekend of August as families either get their kids ready for school or get used to the new routine. ![]()
